Jinoh Jang is a graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Bacteriology. Jinoh is originally from Busan, South Korea and has received his BS in Medical and Molecular Biology from MCPHS University in Boston, MA. His previous research experience involved improving molecular cloning of IL-1 beta DNA in E. coli. Jinoh’s current research project in the Cavagnero lab includes the optimization of transcription-translation cell-free systems to study protein folding and aggregation; and genomic modifications of bacterial ribosome to decrease aggregation in biotechnology and disease. Some of his hobbies include playing the clarinet, online games, and karaoke.
