Akshata Moorthy is an undergrad pursuing a double major in Neurobiology and Genetics/Genomics. She is originally from Minnetonka, Minnesota. Her current project involves analyzing the change in protein termination/ejection rate upon mutation of the ribosomal exit tunnel. Some of her hobbies include dancing, running, traveling and playing the violin.
